Im wondering if you have any real life “woman to woman” advise on how to rebuild post divorce from a narcissist who doesn’t fulfill his financial obligations, no support or family, a 100% commission job as a recruiter in tech and sole responsibility for two daughters. I’m smart, personable and work hard – the ever present thorn in my side is the unpredictable income, which hinges on invoices being paid by clients who can take 90 days and the every day worry about how I will pay next months rent and put food on the table.
In reading many of your communications I got the impression that you are down to earth and have a realistic understanding about what really has to be done to make it…no fluff just raw basic information. Im 46, all my savings are now in my lawyers hands and I’m very much aware of the wear and tear the stress of worry is taking on me. Prior to learning how evil people can be and financial ruin I had a zest for life and never thought about failing – then again, 2 children weren’t part of my responsibility roster. I’ll stop there-looking forward to hearing about possible new adventures that will assist in providing an education for my children and future of pure independence!
    Cheers – Sarah

      Hi Sarah,
I understand the adversities you are speaking about. I can relate to much of what you are sharing, and I’m sure many other readers can too.
As our world is full of adversities, it takes a certain level of thinking to see these adversities are our opportunities. In fact, it is my belief that we created these opportunities so we could find and pursue our most fulfilling route. I know that may sound absurd! It sure did to me when I was going thru my set of adversities. One thing I knew, was I had to find something that would allow me flexibility, and a sustainable income, and something that would make an impact to myself and others. Happy to say I’ve found that. I am sending you an email, so we can connect further. I am happy to assist and share the things that got me on the right path! It’s amazing what a little wind in the sails will do!!
      Best. Lisa
